Where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

I am becoming very upset about what an idiot the president is lately. I had to pull all my political links up to the top of my navigation bar to the right. My favorite new one, which I just found out about today, is Misleader.org. It promises daily updates on misinformation put out by GWB. Check out the link. They put an add in the New York Times, and my favorite quote from the ad is this:

"After all, a President who calls a plan to clear-cut in our national forests the 'Healthy Forest Initiative' needs to be watched."

My next topic, only slightly less important is this: I think there can be few things in this world that are worse than the B-line of the greenline train. Oh, yes, there are all the normal complaints of too many stops, too slow, uncomfortable, etc. But let me add this - being trapped, surrounded by imbecile college students loudly discussing their ideas on topics ranging from social justice to which bars won't ID you to how to take a picture of yourself taking a picture (we were treated to that last one tonight). It's a very awful form of torture. I want to stand up and scream, "Shut the fuck up you idiots!", have them actually shut up, and then one by one, walk through the train and explain to each of them why they are stupid and should stop talking in public. In fact, perhaps they should stop talking at all, ever. I had to listen to these horrible girls tonight talking about the photographs that one of them had taken. From listening to them I'm quite sure that they were horribly bad photos trying to be artsy. I ended up tuning out their actual conversation and just counting how many times they said the word "like", which was far too many. Then I was explaining to Rob how horrible it was to listen to these people and he said I should remember that and shut up too and I had to agree. So now I am vowing to keep my mouth shut on the T. I will only talk if I can talk quietly enough that only the person or people I'm with will hear me. I don't want to participate in the torture of other passengers.

Also, one final reminder to the MBTA: if the air conditioning on a train doesn't work, don't run the train.
