DirecTV Pay-Per-View is offering something this month called "The World's Wildest College Parties" or some such garbage. Can you believe someone would order this on Pay-Per-View?
Anyway. Today the weather was doing crazy things. Pouring very hard very suddenly. Then it stopped and never started again. I guess a lot of areas of the city flooded but that was before 5pm and nothing was flooded on my commute home by the time I was leaving. i stayed a little late at work preparing for our entry in Canstruction this year. I left the office a bit after 7. It's getting dark so much earlier now. It was very dark on my way home.
I was browsing around and trying to find some fun blogs to read today. Here are a few. I don't necessarily know that much about any of them, but I found them interesting or funny or entertaining or something.:

I guess we are very tired and going to bed now. Goodnight!

Sorry for not posting for so long. We've been busier than usual. Hard to believe, but true. Not with anything exciting though.
So Friday I had my performance review at work and it went really well, which was great. Later that afternoon we had a "hurricane party" (should probably have been a lack of a hurricane party) which gathered most of the company up on our floor (the 5th) for beer and mixed drinks. Kathleen made a pitcher of something she called "all screwed up" which was Absolut, triple sec, OJ and ginger ale. It was very tasty. Also, strong. So I had 3 glasses and got a little drunk. Not saying-stupid-things drunk, but definitely laughing too much and having bad balance drunk. Then I stopped on my way home to drunkenly buy some new shoes in celebration of my good review. (Don't worry, they only cost $19.99.) I remember in the store thinking, I feel like I'm stumbling around. Do I look like a drunk idiot or a lunatic? Hopefully I didn't.
I need a haircut. I haven't had one since December except for my own trimming of my bangs a little but they're totally grown out now. Anyway, I have all kinds of split ends, etc. I really liked my haircut in December. But I haven't been able to justify spending the money on another since. I asked Rob Reed if he would cut my hair for me and he said, "if I have to". I think he's scared to but I just want a little trim. I'll have to make him do that soon. I will probably cut my bangs. Maybe tonight. Anyway. I will either just trim it or I will chop it off. I've been wanting to chop it off again. Sometimes I see people with long hair and think it's really pretty but mostly I see them and think ewwwwww. I think that means it's time for a haircut.
I think I wanted to really lay into some people about some upsetting things but I can't think of what I wanted to say. Oh, I remember one thing. We were in Brighton tonight for Rob's part-time job (I accompany him after work sometimes because otherwise I'd just be home alone and it's nice to have the company on the horrible greenline train) and he saw a sign that he told me about for a missing dog, the saddest missing dog sign ever. It was for an old yellow lab with cancer, who needed his meds every day or he would die, and who also got violently ill if he ate the wrong foods. Also, he was stolen out of his owner's car in the parking lot of a hospital. Also, he's "very friendly". So I know the person who stole the dog didn't know he had cancer, but that doesn't matter. You obviously have no reason to be stealing people's dogs and the fact that the dog is very sick and your stealing it probably means it will die now is just an extra reason for you to go to a hotter place in hell. I then started to rant and rave about how I had no forgiveness for people who were so awful to animals and Rob said I should not have forgiveness for anyone really because people were all so awful, and I had to agree at this point. Anyway, then I said some nice things like I hope the people who did it would be stabbed in the face and that if they had kids first their kids should be stabbed in the face and their parents forced to watch. Something like that. I guess I might take the kids part back but I can't take the other part back. People are so awful. This just reminds me of my ridiculous comment when I said the world would be better off if it was run by alligators and sharks and I would like to say that I re-agree with myself on that point.
