FYI... something about my new and improved website is screwing up some of my previously posted pictures... notably the one from Mike and Jen's wedding on Sept. 8. Sorry, this should be fixed within the next day or two. (I would say tonight but Rob has fallen asleep on the couch and my efforts to figure it out by myself have proved fruitless.)

You know what I'm sick of? Hearing freaking Adam Whatever-the-hell-his-name-is talking about the "most memorable kick" of his life. Oh, ya think? You mean, the time you kicked the winning field goal for the Pats in the Superbowl? It's almost as bad as those terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad ads that Mary Lou Retton did for Revco, back when it still existed (before it was bought by CVS), during the 1996 Olympics. Oh, yeah. That was the summer I was stuck in Ohio with no summer job. I watched a lot of TV.

We're watching Fear Factor right now and I just have to say, for about the millionth time, that there is no way I could ever do any of the gross eating or bug-related things. I wouldn't do it to save someone's life, to attain world peace, to find a cure for cancer. It can't be done. Not by Jenn Martinelli. And by the way, these people who eat these nasty things should be getting a lot more prize money.

Tonight we got the third season of The Family Guy on DVD and we're putting on an episode now to watch while we go to bed. While I was in line at Best Buy to purchase it, the kid behind me said, "That's a good choice you've got there." I felt like maybe I should chat with him about Family Guy but I didn't know what to say so instead I just smiled and nodded.

We got a lot of stuff done this weekend, I feel like. Lots of cleaning and organizing. So we feel pretty good about that. Some more laundry to finish up but the livingroom is really clean and the kitchen too and we're getting there with fixing our "real" bedroom so we can eventually move back in there to sleep when we don't need the A/C anymore.
