Here We Go Again

Well people, I have to go over something again. Firstly, PETA is a horrible organization that should be disbanded. I can't believe so many people subscribe to their stupid ideas. I can believe stupid celebrities do, since half of them didn't even graduate high school, and working in the entertainment industry kills your brain cells anyway, I'm sure, but I can't believe "normal" people do. Hey, smarty-pants, if "factory farm" meat is so bad (and I agree it is), why don't you encourage people to buy organic/small-farm meat, so that those kinds of farms can stay in business, instead of just telling people to skip meat altogether, meaning the only people who are going to change their buying habits are just going to stop buying meat completely instead of buying the right kind of meat? Since if you actually look at the world with your reality goggles, you will realize that you are not going to convert the entire country or planet to vegetarians or vegans, maybe you should do something that makes sense.

Oh, and here is a little bit of hypocrisy for you, PETA. You want the Green Bay Packers to rename their team. I've been over this before, so just to move on, I'll simply say this is very stupid for countless reasons. However, your suggested new name change is the "Six-Packers"? So now you're advocating consumption of six-packs instead of consumption of meat? Wow, you guys are fucking brilliant.

What is Jenn Knitting?

Right now, I am finishing a pink scarf for Heather, and a blue scarf for myself or other person yet to be determined. In the lineup to come I have many lovely yarns to use... merino wool, cotton, wool blends, silk. I have learned my first somewhat difficult trick, which is reducing stitches. I needed this to make a hat. Oh, and I knit the hat on a circular needle, which was a new thing to learn too.

Here is a reference for a ton of stitches with photos.
