Where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

We went to the Boston Public Library today and it was pretty awesome. Yes, sadly, I have lived in Boston for five years and been to the library about two times. The main branch downtown is a great building too, with murals by John Singer Sargent, etc. Anyway, it's a great place to hang out if you just want to read or relax or whatever. Plus, it has a wireless network which we can use with our laptop. There are also places where you can plug into ethernet ports. Anyway, we had a good morning there and Rob may spend some time there now to get work done instead of having to circulate between various Starbucks. I forgot how nice it was to hang out in a library! Everyone just minding their own business, quietly doing whatever.

What is Jenn Knitting?

Right now, I am finishing a pink scarf for Heather, and a blue scarf for myself or other person yet to be determined. In the lineup to come I have many lovely yarns to use... merino wool, cotton, wool blends, silk. I have learned my first somewhat difficult trick, which is reducing stitches. I needed this to make a hat. Oh, and I knit the hat on a circular needle, which was a new thing to learn too.

Here is a reference for a ton of stitches with photos.
