Comcast SUCKS Comcast cable sucks. They suck worse than they did when they were AT&T, and even worse than they did when they were Cablevision. Lucky us, they are our only fucking option in stupid Charlestown if we want broadband internet access (don't go thinking it's a luxury, it's a necessity for Rob to get any work done ever) so we're stuck with it. Every single day at least twice if not more, we lose DNS. Somebody might read this who doesn't know what DNS is, so I'll just translate - it means you can't get anywhere online. It makes it very difficult to do things that we routinely do such as: Access bank and credit card accounts online to update our records in Quicken I won't continue the list but let's just say it is extremely frustrating and awful. Meanwhile we pay them over $50/month for this crappy service. People get better service (and more service options) from cable companies in places like Doylestown, Ohio, for Pete's sake. So, to summarize, Comcast Cable sucks more than just about anything else other than the movie Battlefield Earth and the Greenline. |
