The website I'm talking about is simply called British History Pages and features: Chronicle of Occurrences October 1855 to November 1859; Weekly Entertainer 1793; Old Photographs; Edwardian Actresses; Victorian Men in Uniforms; and much, much more.And by the way: I used to know such a gent with those interesting hairy features. But that was in 1994 and the person in question was proofreader at Hamilton Carver Lee in Cambridge.
