I do want to point out a site by Jerry Pournelle (http://www.jerrypournelle.com) that I read a lot. For those that don't know, Jerry is a bona fide rocket scientist who penned the Chaos Manor column in Byte magazine for as many years as I have been playing with computers (yeah, at one time I could read and speak Hollerith). Anyway, his daily diary is really a blog, long before blogs appeared, and while the site is not a blog so to speak, in Jerry's words, "it's good enough". Lots of good tips and editorial comment. Again, to use his words "Highly recommended". comment [] 8:13:48 AM |

Yeah, I've ignored the log for a couple of days. Real world stuff taking over. Attended an AeA legislative forum yesterday which I should post later today. It was exciting to see techies and legislators in one room. But, there is a ways to go before tech policy gets the attention it deserves. comment [] 7:51:15 AM |
