Liability or Security or just plain mistrust?

Employers definitely need to protect their company from liabilities created by unscrupulous employees.  But, with the tools described at the Computer Security Institute conference, how far should a company go before creating the 21st Century equivalent of Animal Farm?

SIM Schools?

A piece from BBC news talks of a simulation tool developed by BBC allowing teachers to simulate school life, developing real scenarios and seeing the impact of decisions and lack of decisions on the morale, performance, and atmosphere of school.  An interesting way to test policy and HR issues before taking them to the real world!

Teachers get to make virtual decisions. An online "sim school" game challenges subject heads to choose courses of action - then plays out the consequences. [BBC News | TECHNOLOGY]
