Daniel Patrick Moynihan, RIP.

George Will has written a wonderful eulogy to the late Senator from New York.  In a time when politicians are more interested in driving public opinion via jingoistic rhetoric, Moynihan was one who enunciated principles first, politics second.  The so-called liberals who now attempt to lead the Democratic Party should take time to learn lessons from Sen. Moynihan's life.  His politics had substance.
