Getting it... or not.NYT article discussess GOP efforts, already underway, to train an army of agents to contact voters personally. This is version 2.0 of the plan Reed and company put together for 2000, made some adjustments for 2002, and now is perfecting for 2004. Dean's campaign has leaped ahead by recognizing how to employ the edge-to-edge structure of the Internet to invigorate voters. However, the AFL-CIO says Democrats need not fear the might GOP machine (or Dean's for that matter). What voters are really looking for is information from an insitution they trust (aka the unions). All this business of empowering individuals matters not. Hmm... do they need to watch the election replays for the past 4 years? They don't get it do they? 6:32:16 AM |
