What's Your Government's Pandemic PlanNetwork upgrades, cots are part of USDA's pandemic plan. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is preparing for a potential pandemic with steps that include expanding the ability of employees to work remotely, plus cots, food and water in data centers in the event of a quarantine.[Computerworld Breaking News] While I'm still seeing ability to lift 25 pounds on some software engineering jobs, I haven't seen ability to sleep on cots included. How realistic are any ideas of staff staying at a data center?
