October 15 is Blog Action Day for our Environment  They selected and publicized the environment as this year's theme because of its clarity and urgency. Usually blogs address different subjects (and that's part of their charm) but here's a chance for a day to see many facets of the same subject, the environment, throughout the blogosphere.
If you are also a blogger, you can consider this as your motivation to write about an environmental subject that's close to you.
The Blog Action Day site includes a few resources on environmental charities. There are many more and perhaps that will inspire you to volunteer or contribute where you can.
