Schools get tailored cyberattack data.
A customized service that analyzes data from firewalls and intrusion
detection systems might help protect university networks. [CNET News.com] Probably a similar targeted service would be good for governments also.

California Updating IT Strategic Plan
Last week, the California State CIO, Clark Kelso, and
the IT Council Strategic Plan Committee developed a draft update for the California
2005 IT Strategic Plan. Input to this draft plan may be sent to askcio(at)cio.ca.gov.
