The Register: Runs an article about the recent security certification for Windows (security and Windows in the same sentence!!!!). This is the link and based on the contents of the article Mr. Cheswick was right: "The best security device that comes with M$ Windows is the shrinkwrap around the box." IMHO: "Removal of this security measure renders your system vulnerable to a zillion attacks" should be written on a sticker on the shrinkwrap.
To prove my point there were some new reported security flaws shortly after M$ boasted about the certification.
