A friend of mine called me last weekend, he had treated himself with an e-book about stress-relief. He started to read the book on his desktop WinDOS™-Box and decided later on, to transfer it to his laptop.
Welcome to the wonderful world of DRM-crap™. I tried to explain to him, that there might be a chance to transfer the license to his laptop. He mumbled something about "Passport" and registering and tried to search the website he bought the book from. He sounded very stressed after some time, thank god he has a book about stress-relief, oh wait....
Since he is an avid WinDOS™ user, I didn't try to educate him about "Passport", I didn't want to raise his stress-level any more.
