I did a clean install recently, and the most noticeable missing app was TigerLaunch. It's definitely on my short list of required software.

I certainly can't fit everything in the dock, and won't drag the Applications folder there because I don't want the whole bloody thing to display. TigerLaunch lets me easily pick and choose which applications I want to make available from the menu bar - clean, quick (and free!)

(he he) Just went to the website from VersionTracker to grab the link, and saw that it's another fine Ranchero Software product. Thanks again, Brent!

I didn't include any server admin apps, because if I'm deserted on an island I won't be working.

Unless I can get broadband :)
