Life, code, life again...

As I began my journey into discovering the call that God has for me, I began to see work that was unseen and undone by "traditional" church organizations.  With a background that includes smaller churches bordering between suburban and semi-rural, I never had the benefit of participating in big-minded, big-budgeted church ministries with big ideas.

My first assessment of the potential that I saw (things that could be done better), was that the "current leadership" (nobody in particular, but the Christian world in general) had somehow failed and lacked vision.

After some negative reactions by others to this sentiment, I realized that I was wrong.  It struck me that for thousands of years, devoted Christians and even martyrs have given everything for the gospel.  To say that any of that was wasted or misspent would be an awfully misguided notion.

In fact, all that has been is part of God's overall orchestration.  Sure, people make mistakes.  Sure, people miss God's plan.  Sure, people abuse position and authority.  But God is not thwarted.  His plan does not fail.

Don't mistake work that you see undone as someone else's failure.  It might just be an opening for someone else to use their God-given talents.  You might be surprised.  It could be you.
