You Lie More Often Than You Think! http://www.discover.com/oct_02/breaklies.html  This interesting study showed that people delude themselves into thinking they lie less than they really do. I believe this, having barely noticed the other day when I found myself "stretching the truth" a little bit in front of a new acquaintence; what about those times I don't really notice or care? So the search has been on to find new anxiolytics without these side-effects. This link details promising research about one avenue for such drugs and offers hope to those prone to addiction (such as recovering alcoholics) who are often steered clear from benzodiazepines.
