Microsoft's mobile phone software gets boost from deal with Motorola. Motorola and Microsoft said they're working together to develop cell phones based on the Windows Mobile 2003 operating system, a deal that comes just two weeks after Motorola sold off its stake in a vendor consortium that owns Microsoft rival Symbian Ltd.
