A note from a Jewish friend
---------------------------------------

My Jewish friends don't agree with me, necessarily.  Certainly, my family and upbringing differs.

My grandparents had to hide their faith beginning during WWII, because both grandfathers and one great grandfather were professionally involved on national and international bases.  To this day, I still recieve biased attitudes from Christians - acquainances, friends, and family.  As soon as I recognize attitude from acquaintances - I immediately remind them of WWII, and how my family had to hide to protect themselves.  For friends and family - this is a long-term battle.  I lay my battle cry at their feet for the spirits of my ancestors.  I just wish that more people respected their heritage.

WWI and WWII brought on the fight, and the flight of my people, the Jews - oppressed, tortured, and murdered from Russia, Poland, Austria, Germany... to claim their spiritual rights, and obtain land for permanent freedom.

But what is freedom when you've been instigating fights for over fourty (40) years, against people who did not cause the trecherous horror of Stalin and Hitler? Against people who do not have government military to fight as equals? What did the Muslims do?  Who are the European Jews to move into a new land, cast out and harm the Arab people from their land?  Is this not revenge against the wrong people?  Is this not displacement of anger?

Arab people have every right to their land - and it is not the place of Jews and Christians to dispise them.  Muslims have the right to more than the West Bank, and other small slivers.  Muslims have every right to retain their spirituality in the Holy Land.

The Holy Land should be shared. The Holy Land should be an internationally owned and protected area.

The United States is a Christian dominated country - and should not be involved in this matter, unless they treat the Palistineans as allies (which they will not until democracy is mainstreamed).  And now, the Holy Places - the Temple Mount, and so forth should be protected by the Canadian, French, German, and Russian military.  Espically the Germans and the Russians - to give back to the Jews which their history has taken from them.  These governments whom are against the Iraq invasion of Iraq, and see the perpetual build up of terrorism in the Middle East - should be strong in their leadership and cultural competency.  Take up a joint mission under the United Nations.  And what of the United States?  They will always favor the Israelis - and so let them speak on their behalf - they will say anything they want anyhow (espically in this Administration).

Oh - car bombs and suicide missions and killing children...

Killing women and children - these are war crimes, committed by Muslim fanatics who are not acting in the Truth of their faith.  Children going to war - children under 18 should not be fighting. These leaders should be caught, tried, and persecuted as war criminals.

Car bombs, assasinations, suicide missions - these are "just" acts of war.  These are not war crimes, but strategies configured by community-based military who have no money for tanks and military technology.  People who go on suicide missions do so as an act of war - sacrificing themselves.  This approach is a stark contrast to civilized fighting - as military go to war knowing there is a risk, a gamble of death.  Instead, Muslims accept death - and choose to die in place of others for the sake of their people.

These people are warriors - as the Native Americans fought the settlers with bows and arrows, against guns.  This is not a fair fight.  The Muslim Warriors use their community-based intelligence and strategies to make it fair.

And so what of Israel vs Palestine?  The Jewish settlers should leave the West Bank, and should not return until they are welcomed properly by the Muslim people.  In the interim, I strongly encourage the European, Canadian, and Russian leaders to take up arms and stand for their values.  Their multiculturalism is strong, invested, and they have seen return on investment that the United States will not recognize for decades to come.
