Just like DoCoMo in Japan, Vodafone have decided to offer their own Java libraries for J2ME. Hopefully this will be made redundant by MIDP 2.0 and the Mobile Media extensions. I plan to look at this in more detail to see what Vodafone is offering that these new profiles and extensions will not.
