Qualcomm to include USB interface to phone [ThinkMobile]
This seems like a good idea. I wonder if they will think to add plug-and-play storage capabilities via the USB, either on the phone itself (see my earlier posting on this) or transparently via the packet radio interface to some networked storage. Imagine that! Plug-and-play into some network store that appears just like a drive on the PC. Of course, Bluetooth would be nice, but USB is also good. I also just finished reading that the USB flash-memory devices market is set to boom, so the convergence with mobiles is a natural and obvious step: just waiting to see who takes the first step.
