Pottery Radio-

Thanks for the nice kudos for yesterday's podcast.

I've confirmed that it works with ipodder software, so you can subscribe to it. When there is a new one, the ipodder software will put it into your computer and even put it on your mobile player.

These do take a bit of time for me to do, but if you let me know, I'll do more. I'm having fun with it.

...and if anyone is interested on making their own, I'd be happy to help:

Engadget's How To.
ILK's Simple Podcasting.
How to Podcast.

Basically:
1. You need to create an audio file.
2. Place it on the Internet so others can get to it.
3. Let other folks know about it (post to Clayart.)
4. (Sort of Optional Step: Associate it with an RSS feed so that people can subscribe to it and get the new file when you publish it)

Clayart has a thread about radio, and I have been watching the explosion of podcasting content recently. I enjoy listening to these things while I work and thought potters would be a natural audience. So I decided to give it a go myself.

I am not sure how to make it work with Radio Userland, RSS feeds, audio.weblogs.com, ipod software, etc... so I am still looking into all of that.
