Mister Rogers "We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility," he said in 1994. "It's easy to say 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem. Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes."
More than a man with good taste in sweaters, Mr. Rogers taught us how to treat our neighbors as we would ourselves. He died of cancer today at the age of 74.
