My Weekend
Most of the weekend just flew by without my even noticing. I am once again working on “purging” my household of excess items. I took a big wad of stuff up to the Salvation Army Store on Third Street and Brookwood Avenue, which is close enough to my house for me to have furniture hanging out the back of my little car (tied in!) and not lose it along the way. The Little Bike was in with the lot, I am sorry to say. Little Bike was a one-speed children’s bike that had a gear ratio that was not compatible with Bennett Valley Road, the only scenic route near my home where I had really wanted to cycle. Now that the rainy season has come upon us, I won’t be thinking about a bike again for a while. I guess it is just as well, the only place to store it was in the car or in my living room. Walking and T'ai Chi will be my main sources of exercise, as they always have been.
