Oh, yeah, 2003... I hope it's not all in a dark tunnel like this....

Okay, okay—I admit it’s a new year.  I am usually 3 days late for events like this, so catching up late on the 2nd is actually quite good for me.

I went down to the land of my birth for Christmas celebration, and had a very good time.  There was even snow—in Southern California—(the mountains), and it was just wonderful.  My favorite part was waking in the mornings up at Arrowbear, tiptoeing into the kitchen for coffee, and then sitting at the sliding glass door watching all the animal life coming to the feeders that my brother Frank keeps graciously filled for them.   Also meeting several of Frank’s cats who have now become legendary in my life, though I had not met them!  The time went too quickly and was over too soon.  When I come home from things like this I need to go into “stasis” for a few days… that’s the best I can describe it.  But I got my bags unpacked, and now find I am working my way through a sneezey cold.  Hopefully I can keep it just sneezey and not do the whole chest cold thing.  That could really be not good since I am immunocompromised… but I don’t talk about that here.  This is my fun page.

I hope I can figure out what I am doing wrong in my links to my story pages.  I need to start linking up to those stories when I go back to the story, which will be… soon.  The sequences come to me in dreams and stuff, so I appreciate the patience of all of you who read my stuff.

This year on the whole has got to be better than the last one… it’s just a matter of “nowhere to go but up.”

So I welcome 2003, and hope it is not June before I am remembering to write it in my checkbook.
