Continuing the Story
Though it seems like quite a while has passed while Geo and Shiara have been on the Gray Planet, their timescale differs from ours. It was less than four days ago [for them] that a firestorm swept through the Valley at
Shiara had made another spacetime portal which lead to Absolute Nothingness. That, in and of itself was an awesome sight. Then she took the silver ball… the seed for the new universe, and threw it hard into the center of the Nothingness. And suddenly there was a Big Bang. So in this short period of time, a new Universe had been started. And hopefully Shiara can find a planet that Geo can survive on. Though Shiara is a goddess and does not need her body, Geo needs his body to be alive, and that narrows our selection of viable planets down quite a bit.
Shiara sighed, thinking of all this. She was the one who brought a human along; and now she needed to care for him like a pet. But on the other hand, she really wanted to find a new planet where humans would survive, for she is incredibly fond of them…
Under the influence of this Strange Gray Planet both of them began to flounder mentally and emotionally. But they were cared for by a collective Higher Power known as The Voices. These Voices are gods more powerful than Shiara, and they often appear in physical form as small gray birds with red crests. We are not aware of the gods that rule The Voices. None of the gods in our story claim to have omnipotent powers; they just fit into their niches, ruling and helping in the best ways they can.
Shiara was sitting cross-legged on the ground at the foot of the couch. She had a sad look on her face. She was concerned about Geo. She got up again to look at him. Something was different, she couldn’t quite describe it.
Geo had settled in on the Black Couch for a long sleep. Images of his beautiful inner world swirled around in his head. He could see bright violet and golden colors that painted the wide plains outside of his forest. “Joy…” he mumbled in his sleep. The Plains of Joy. He picked flowers in meadows filled with sunlight. He entered dark, cool forests, alive with streams and animals. He continued to sleep with a smile on his face.
Geo had at last made it to the Black Couch, in spite of his vivid and frightening hallucinations. And now, here he was, lying on the Couch, but was this helping him at all? He was still seeing a spectacular world that was only in his mind. Couch was frustrated and afraid. He was a healer! He was meant to help! He was sent here to help. Oh what was wrong?
A gray bird with a red crest landed on the back of the Black Couch. “Zeet!” it said. “Zeet,” Couch greeted back without enthusiasm. The Voices then began to speak to Black Couch, and Shiara could hear their voices, too.
“There is nothing that is predictable right now, Couch. But you are not a failure.” “Look! You are healing his body! “Shiara said.
Indeed, Geo’s body seemed to be growing younger by the minute.
“Yes, but what’s a body without a mind?” said Couch. “And Geo… he is my good friend—“
“We have looked inside his mind,” said the Voice, “and we are inspired by his creativity. We want to use it to form parts of the New Planet. That is why you have not been able to release the psychosis from his mind. Let us gather that information from his mind into our own, and then he can let it go.”
The three birds now stood on the arm of the Couch closest to Geo’s head. They simply stood there for a while, looking at Geo, and then back and forth at each other. They stretched their wings as if they were gathering all his thoughts below them. And then they flew off quickly through the door in space, to look for the New Planet.
