Healer
Geo was furious with himself.
“I didn’t need to send him over there!” he said. “I have done this kind of thing before.”
“I have seen you do it,” said Shiara.
“I am going to do it.” Geo bent down to get through the doorway
“I am coming through the door…” Geo announced, and he slid his body sideways and pushed himself through. He thanked himself that he was such a small man. Shiara became a soft cloud of scented smoke, and wafted herself through the little door after him.

As soon as they saw Pigmet on his little makeshift palette, Lee and Larry grabbed both sides of it, and slid him into the room. Lee looked Pigmet over from head to toe. He listened to his little chest with the stethoscope.
“This is not good,” he said. “Something is hitting him very hard.” He pulled an IV bag out of his medicine bag. “We have to get fluid into our little friend quickly,” he said. He attached the needle to Pigmet’s arm, and taped it fast.
Geo came near, with a new confidence inside himself. “You do all that you can. I need to start with my healing now, to make sure I have time.” He put both of his hands on Pigmet’s body and went into deep concentration.
He never knew quite what was going to happen when he performed a healing. He really couldn’t let himself think of the result. He simply poured his own energy into the Universe, and into the person he loved, and gave them his Hope.
