Oogie, boogie
I guess this site slipped into a bit of a funk, and it is worth admitting.  Like everyone, have been a bit busy with what real life sends my way.  Also admit fact that we are a little limited technically, as the Web has moved way past what we have here at home in terms of bandwidth and application complexity.  Was pretty excited bout technology and science when Radio weblog started out about three years ago - not so much lately. Have been tryng to fashion different types of art - and nothing much has really stuck. Am almost ready to write off this year, but, as it's just April, that may be a bit early. Here are some things that caught my eye going back quite awhile.

Recently or not so recently noted
Robert Creeley passes - blogcritics, Mar 31, 2005
http://blogcritics.org/straightup/2005/03/31/103615.php
Robert Creeley creeped into my view more or less in relation to Charles Olsen. He worked in the wake of Williams, and I do not think he quite caught the mudane moment as well. But he sure wasn't any kind of mesenger boy for the academy, which meant a lot to poetry, which he went a long way to fine. In his day.

Quadriplegic controls PC by mind power alone - The Register, Mar 22, 2005
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/03/22/mind_power_pc/
One thng great about my pop and his buds was way they came to rescue when a ramp was needed for wheel-chared handicapped kids - my sister one of them. Always wanted to get more knowledge of DSP and such, the stuff one might use to automate basic motor functions of human, but just haven't kept up with advances that enable a more even playing field for all. Mind power thing here of interest.

Jon Udell's latest take on rich media - Oreilly.net

If you wonder what is new and interesting in technology, look up 'udell' on google. Jon Udell's latest interest is video blogish.

Beat of the Bomb -NYT, Mar 15, 2005
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/15/science/15bomb.html
Music of the bomb, sing to me! Ping me why don't cha? What can I recall? There was 13 Women by Bill Hailey, and Tom Leherer's The Bomb. I remember Jimmie Rodgers was going to dig himself a cave and move on underground. And Walk me out in the Mourning Dew, and What have they done to the rain? The Louvin Brothers were thinking about the A-Bomb I am sure when they staged the photo shoot for the cover of Satan is real… A Times piece finds a prof who dug way deeper into A-Bomb Country Music of Mid-20th-Century America.

Dark Hero of the Information Age: In Search of Norbert Wiener, the Father of Cybernetics - IHT, Mar 4, 2005
http://www.iht.com/articles/2005/03/04/features/booksat.html
Well I got to get this book I guess. Since Norbert is always on my mind. First take:I find it hard to believe that he might have terribly closed out his association with promising bohemian associates because they sough,t as his supposedly borgoise wife told him, to diddle with his daughter.  First of all, he never seemed to stick with one thing too long, and second of all, neural nets that thee cats promulgated are still yet to be proved to be even promising in describing anything much. But I guess I'd have to read the book to be sure. Oh Dark Hero, send me some dough from the great beyond.
