I think for most of us who grew up with the Punk Rock of the late 70's and early 80's will find today as tragic a day as February 2nd is to Pistols Fans.

Rest In Peace Joe...  http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/entertainment/music/2600669.stm

Anyone need a Bentley?. OK, so it turns out that Jermaine Dupri is in a little trouble with the IRS. I've already contacted my homies in the Atlanta area that, if there is a public auction, I would like to bid on either one of his Bentleys or a case of Cristal? So I spent some time yesterday ripping out all my SwingWorker and other misc. invokeAndWait/invokeLater code and replaced it with foxtrot which provides a nice syncronous model. Basically it runs the heavy code in a seperate thread, blocks the code flow (as if invokeAndWait were used) but allows the EDT to dequee messages. Fsck'ing brilliantly easy to retrofit into a large code base (as opposed to something like Spin)..

My $0.02 (sorry dave, no I10N filter in radio<g>)
