Dave. That's such a great question! From the moment I first saw an HTML
form on a Web page, it was clear that boundaries were about to blur. Web
pages are both documents and programs. Websites are both publications
and applications. URLs are both phrases and function calls. Text is
code, code is data, data is text....

IBM plans open-source storage strategy. Big Blue is releasing an open-source version of the software needed to let servers tap into its forthcoming "Storage Tank" technology. [source: CNET News.com]
