YAY! congrats to g who started academy yesterday.  everyone's proud of you.  dont die!  :D 

can i just say i attained the crowning acheivement in irresponsibility this past weekend?  i went out for happy hour after work friday.  my first one.  my last possibly.  we were let out early, 2:30 in fact, so we started drinking then.  i planned on only one drink, since i had to pick someone up from the airport.  here's what i remember:  the paramedics coming and asking me if i was ok and if they could leave, me on the grass somewhere in downtown phoenix.  my boss saying "sweetie you need to get up, there's ants crawling all over you."  my puking in her house for hours.  sitting next to one of my coworkers at some bar and puking right there.  being in a civic.  being in a beetle.  then i got conscious enough to go to the airport, but the person bailed thinking i was too drunk to make it.  so i drove home around 8pm.  i ended up spending the weekend ill with friends.

1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?  texas

2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?  i can't think of anything, but if it did happen, it was likely in tijuana or maybe new orleans.

3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?  bora bora!  no contest. :D

4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?  car.  i love road trips.  but only short road trips - like 7 hours, tops.  if it has to be longer, i prefer to fly.

5. What's the next place on your list to visit?  chicago to go see my parents in indiana.

this morning i fell down my stairs going to work.  i didnt fall all the way down but i fell enough for it to be scary.  heres one of my wrists after the swelling and redness went away:
