1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why?  my fav singer is sinead o'connor because i think she has an incredible voice.  not when she sings  normal pop-like stuff, but when she does more traditional singer type stuff.  my fav musician is elliot smith cause i just think hes a really talented songwriter.

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?  alanis morrisette.  i know i dont even need to go into why.  she is an abomination.

3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?  um i think we all know what sinead must be like in real life so uh i think no.  ;)  elliot i have met and he's ok i guess.  but kinda boring and kind of a downer to be around.

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?  i've been to a few ;)  this is really uncharacteristic of me but the best show was billy joel.  i'm not a huge fan but it really was awesome.  and he talked to me from the stage.  not bad!

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?  um  i hate this subject but ok.  i never really bought music until i got into downloading mp3s.  a lot of things that i listen to arent the most mainstream, so i would download something and if i liked it, i'd buy the cd.  now that i dont do it so much, i pretty much stopped buying cds again.  i doubt i am the only one out there like that, so i think its a bad idea to be that against it.

ok so the bday is over and its everything back to normal now.  flew up there with charlie and stayed at paris.  it rocked.  best bday yet.  i wasnt so lucky with the gambling so i mostly just watched.  um ok what did we do?  we went to this asian place to eat.  both ordered alcohol and he got carded and i didnt.  can you believe that?  they also washed our hands for us, something about good luck.  i dont know.  that was a bit odd.  went to a bunch of bars, espnzone for the asu game.  i got my hair cut, went to fashion show mall.  oh ate at this mon ami gabi place which doesnt look like it would be much but OMG the filet mignon was sooooooo good.  easily one of the best meals ever.  i got cake and champagne when it hit midnight on my bday and an awesome present.  one of the best things though was layin out by the pool drinkin a bloody mary and thinking about all my coworkers hard at work.  haha!  anyway, very awesome.  i'm sure i'm forgetting a lot. 

work celebrated my bday today with an awesome cake and a card, they sang and we chilled for about a half hour so that was cool.  my relatives sent a bunch of money.  i think thats it.

have i mentioned my bday is a big deal to me?  ;)
