1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?  i mostly just watch football and hockey.  very very rarely boxing and more rare than that nascar.

2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?  saints, bears, cubs, flyers, devils.  no longer playing: ron harper, mark grace.  playing: norman hand, peyton manning, javy lopez, keith tkachuk.

3. Are there any sports you hate?  tennis.  golf.  soccer. 

4. Have you ever been to a sports event?  baseball, hockey, football, basketball, nascar, nhra, i know theres more.  i go to sporting events sometimes.

5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?  i played lacrosse, third home.  i'd say i played about 5 years in school.  oh and then powderpuff lol.  oh i played a little field hockey but then i got rollerblades so then i did it that way.  that was sponsored by the town.

gauge got sick last night and i thought if we just rode it out he might be fine.  but this morning i woke to him puking and having bloody diarrhea so i called in sick to work and took him to the vet.  now he's in the hospital.  if i wasnt leaving for the weekend, i could monitor him and only take him to the vet if he gets worse, but since i can't really change my flight he has to stay in the hospital.  they want to keep him there for 2 days and if he gets better, they will put him in boarding.  right now he's getting bloodwork done, fecal sample tested, fluids put under his skin to keep him hydrated, medicine to settle his stomach and they are monitoring him constantly.  they are going to avoid giving him an iv if possible.  i hope he gets better - i feel awful that he's going to be in the hospital on his a day.  they are hoping its just that he ate something bad or has a virus.  i dont know what i am going to do if its something worse.

this sort of thing happens to my moms dog about once a year.  i dont know how she handles it.  i'm a wreck. i want my puppydog to be ok.  :(
