omg when was the last time i wrote in this thing?!?!?  ok um last weekend the bf was here and the big reason was cause of my company xmas party.  i mean holiday party, excuse me. ;)  anyway it was fun.  there was free booze and dateboy of course.  the people i work with are nice and we made fun of people.  the food was ok since it was free and once again, free booze.  we each got two drinks and they kept our table stocked with wine.  i won one of the prizes they gave out :) and the bf had to drive home cause i was too tipsy.  i dont remember the drive home but the pics we saw later looked like we had a good time :P  i'm not allowed to post them though :-/

friday five... i missed it.

1. Do you enjoy the cold weather and snow for the holidays?  no and no.  i dont like snow and i dont like cold weather.  i dont associate holidays with either, so they can both go.  

2. What is your ideal holiday celebration? How, where, with whom would you celebrate to make things perfect?  are we talkin about xmas?  um i've never had an ideal one.  i guess i'd like to spend it with my bf, getting lots of presents and getting drunk?  :P

3. Do you do have any holiday traditions?  um sort of :-/  every xmas eve we go to my moms cousins house cause instead of xmas, they celebrate xmas eve.  so we go there and eat and watch them open presents.  then we come home and make fun of everyone.  then in the morning i get a stocking :D  and we open presents.  my mom cooks a big breakfast.  then later she makes xmas dinner.  then we usually get drunk.  i'm getting old enough now that i think i have to start making my own traditions though.  especially like this year - because of when xmas is, i cant go home.  one thing i always make sure to do though, is xmas eve i try to drive around looking at luminarias.  its not xmas time and theres no spirit without them.  i hate lights - i think its tacky.  and snowmen and reindeer and santas mean nothing.  luminarias mean its xmas.  :)

4. Do you do anything to help the needy?  i always have in some way.  when i was younger i took it further, like handing out food at homeless shelters and working at toy drives.  but regardless of what i do, i always donate something every year, either food or toys for kids. 

5. What one gift would you like for yourself?  beyond a doubt every year, my favorite gift for xmas is my stocking!  i dont know why, but i love pulling everything out and unwrapping it.  it rocks.  and the one i have at my moms house is huge and she always puts cool stuff in it.  :D

i just got back from austin.  i had a good time.  i had an awful week at work so i just wanted to relax and i got to.  i wont even go into my work week since it was so bad.  this week i may go to hr about it and if i do, or if i get more mad about it, i'm sure it will end up on here.  um austin was cool.  like literally.  it was cold there.  i ate well - like a pig.  um on my way there i sat next to a broker from edward jones, who gave me his card in case i want to go over there if i move.  i ate bbq.  didnt know what brisket was, but i ate it and it wasnt too bad.  um went xmas shopping.  oh! i finally got to see the cell and i actually liked it though i didnt think i would.  i love d'onofrio - one of my favorite actors ever :D  and i saw that pirate movie with johnny depp.  not quite what i thought it would be.  and we all know i drank a lot ;)
