The Neverending Nonsense
My "buddie" Johnson sent me an email asking how things were going with the "bank." As if he didn't know. I also heard from the bank. They finally got around to asking me for 13 large. Here's the email I sent to Johnson in response:
Dear Johnson
I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I've had to fly across the pond to the Colonies on some business and I'm still getting over my jet lag.
I received an email from the bank and there's a matter I don't quite understand. According to the email I am to remit the sum of $13,300 (USD) for something called "National Recovery Economic Charge." Do you know anything about this? Isn't this to come out of the 10% for the expenses of the transaction? It's bad enough I've got to give money to my scum sucking lawyer [I hold my own profession in such high regard don't I?], but I don't understand this charge.
Please advise as soon as possible.
C. Bawls
Just a little while longer and I'll be pulling the ripcord on Johnson. Just a little while longer.
