This And That

What is it about shopping in Victoria's Secret that intimidates me? I go in and I'm the only man in the place. I start shopping around nervously like I'm in the porno section of the local video rental place waiting for someone from my church choir to spot me. I've noticed other men acting this way as well when they're in there. I wasn't even buying anything that risqué for my wife; just some silk pajamas. Sheesh.

I was watching Law & Order, Criminal Intent last night. I've got a pet peeve with that show. It's that every defense attorney I see ought to be sued for malpractice! They sit there like a potted plant while Detective Goren does his leaning over while browbeating the suspect act. They say little or nothing while they let their client spill their guts. What lawyer is going to put up with that crap? Hey, I'd tell them my client's got nothing to say and if anybody wants to talk deal, I'll talk to the D.A. off the record. I hope last night's accused stopped payment on that check to her lawyer.

Lastly, regarding NBC's new show The Apprentice, it would take a lot more than $250,000 a year to work for Donald Trump. Nothing less than 750 large. I know, I once represented an architect that sued him for his fee. Nuff said.
