Surf and Sun Dreams My buddy, The Rifleman, is an avid surf fisherman just as I am. The other day we were discussing the merits of various reels when he clued me in on a new kind of reel which has just come out of Australia. It's called the Alvey Spincast Reel and it's available from Cabela's. These reels are great for unbelievably long casts with fast retrieves. Alvey reels cast like an open face spinning reel, then turn 90° for quick and easy retrieve. It looks like there's a new toy I'm going to want to get to compliment my trusty Penn 750. 9:28:27 PM
