I quoted the Slashdot story on Netflix Fanatic, and should also point out that Slashdot now mentions a viable replacement, Netflix Freak. It stands to note that, according to various comments online, it appears that Cricket developed the app, which clearly resembles Sherlock in functionality, was developing it using Apple's resources, (partially) on Apple's time, and selling it on his own. I rarely side with Apple over employee relations, but it very much seems like they're not at fault in this instance.
