Did you Forget About a 300 Baud Modem?

Remember how exciting it was the first time you connected to a BBS or CompuServe? The first time Stephanie Seymour showed up in a browser at 9600 BPS? Man those were days, expectations were low, just doing something remotely was pretty cool. I think about how large and difficult the projects I do today are and I yearn a bit for simpler times. BUT, it was also of course the time when I made poverty wages, so I don't "wax nostaligic" for more than a moment.
