McNealy and Sun's Slippery Slope

Sun likely to use AMD's Opteron chip. Sun is testing Advanced Micro Devices' forthcoming Opteron chip for servers, and execs say Sun-branded machines using AMD and Intel chips will become more prominent. [CNET News.com]
