Stand up for the Chip Shop! This article deals with the perils of centralization. The EU dictates fishing policy and the family fisherman and chip shop goes under. The technology of fishing has outpaced the ocean in areas where the huge international trawlers and netters cut swaths and those are the real evil bastards in world fishing issues. A family fisher is not the problem, but we are determined as a society to kill them off. Start treating the ocean pilligers as terrorists (the Asian fleets are particulaly culpable here) and shoot them down. Force seafood to be paid for at fair price and put a premium back into it. 12:10:05 PM
