Apple documents changes with AppleScript as related to Mail [Mac Net Journal]

Though the built-in junk mail filtering that arrived in MacOS X 10.2 is nice, it is good to see Apple making it possible to add alternative filters. I'm not sure it is enough, but perhaps this will allow for SpamSieve integration with Mail.

Today I spent hours and hours at the hospital with my father. His health took a dramatic turn for the worse late last week...

I only know Dave through his software and his writing. However, there is nothing that touches me as deeply (as a new father and fortunate son) as the relationship between father and son, and I found Dave's entry regarding his father's recent decline to be quite poignant.
