D-Link to offer a preconfigured hot spot access point: The Airspot DSA-3100 Public/Private Gateway has a suggested price of $599, for which you get captive portal/gateway page, up to 250 local accounts, authentication pass-through for back-end 802.1X and other AAA, MAC filtering, and time/bandwidth limits and monitoring. It also has various firewall and attack monitoring options. Configuration is handled through a Web-based interface, but it doesn't mention whether it's an encrypted, SSL/TLS Web...
