The merger of the Old Town Business Association and the King Street Metro Enterprise Team is a fantastic milestone for Alexandria business, and for the community at large. I am confident that this combination will further enhance the excitement, vitality and uniqueness of the Alexandria business environment. King Street is often the only experience visitors have with our City. This new business organization, as stewards of King Street, take on an enormous responsibility. The business community helps to make Alexandria the unique and special place that it is. Alexandria business provides services and convenience for our residents and visitors alike. There is much we can do to make Alexandria an even better place for residents, visitors and businesses. I know that this new organization will contribute to that effort and I further know that we can expect great things from them.
