i was driving the shit out of the ball (hit 11 out of 14 fairways with a couple drives over 300 yards) but my putting was horrendous. i must have three putted every green! i'm going to have to add dave peltz's putting bible to my what i'm reading list. in my defense, i haven't played or gone to a driving range in 2 months. it was freakin' hot out there too! the temp only said 85 but it felt like 90 at least. i had the 30 proof sunscreen slathered on thick. the surf out at the north shore is getting pretty big, but there didn't seem to be too many people taking a look. maybe there will be more people tomorrow, when some monster waves are supposed to hit. i forgot to take my camera to get some pictures. i left it sitting on the counter (crap). i didn't forget to stop and get some kahuku sweet corn. i have it ready to go on the grill right now. just a snack before dinner (beats eating a bag of chips!).
