i'm surprised that there is no las vegas or detroit (or honolulu up and running). i thought about doing something like this, but i guess if you look around enough on the web, you can find everything has already been done! (not really, i've got a ton of ideas i'm keeping to myself :)

a little tweaking and messing around and the wireless connection is working again. i need the wireless connection to try and work on some remote updating for the weblog. I've read some horror stories on the radio support pages about setting it up and i figure it will be easiest to do on another computer that's right here in front of me rather than going, say, to work and fiddling around day after day, back and forth, trying to get settings correct. if this works out okay, the plan is to take the laptop on vacations (vegas) and do daily updates as a vacation weblog. my next chore is to get photos onto the site. i'll struggle with that this weekend (after the cable guy comes to adjust the levels).
