when i got to the tunnel they had the left lane closed and there were emergency vehicles all over the place. it appeared to be a 4 car and 1 motorcycle accident. the cars were in good shape but the motorcycle was torn up and scattered all over the tunnel. i assumed that the guy they had tied down to the ems gurney was the guy driving the motorcycle. it's amazing that there is no helmet law here. the lawmakers in this state say they don't want gambling here to protect us from ourselves. if that is true why can't they ever pass something as simple as a helmet law, to protect motorcyclists from themselves (we do have a seatbelt law for cars though, with the highest buckle up rate in the nation). i'll try to find out tomorrow what happened to the guy.
