if anybody ever comes across any (good or bad) let me know.

it looks like fares from hawaii have risen about 25% since january. one thing i did do for this trip is to use some of my accumulated united air miles to upgrade to 1st class. with united's bankruptcy i feel like i'll be better off taking some upgrades now (this vegas trip & my july detroit trip) rather than taking free coach trips later. plus these red eye flights from honolulu to vegas are murder on my system:)

no doubt, this is something else that we will get screwed out of here in hawaii!

i was out with mitchell and alan from work who rode in one cart and me and a military guy who hooked up with us in another cart. after nine holes i was beating mitchell by 3 strokes and alan by 4. so tom (the military guy) and i drove down to hole #10 and we saw the other two guys turn and drive back to the clubhouse for snacks and drinks (we thought). things were pretty backed up so it was about 10 minutes before we were ready to tee off and the two guys still hadn't came back yet. so we decided to hit our tee shots and wait. so we waited and waited and they still didn't show up! the other group behind us was now waiting to tee off, so i told tom that we should just go ahead and they could catch up to us. well...... they never caught up to us, because they left after nine holes! without even telling us! what a couple of tools! so anyway, they are now on my list. no more golfing with those two for a long while.

i will do this as soon as i have the time to go through the list and get the catagories down to a managable level and make sure all the links work. i don't know about other people, but my favorites list is the same one i've had for over eight years now, passed down from computer to computer. so it is a total mess, as i have never taken the time to organize it into manageable catagories and links. right now i have 32 catagories with scores of sub catagories under those! yikes! this may take some time.

one will be that all my posts will be in outlined format, where there is a title then the post. what is happening now is that the outliner is just taking my first sentence and making that the title, so it may seem a little disorganized (or you may not have noticed, or cared :).

when i fist came across it i thought i had been redirected back to my own site! i find it interesting how some of these other sites are formated in comparison to my own. with all of the radio add in's that i have installed, it makes it harder to maintain a clean, orderly site. everything that i install effects everything else and then i have to figure out how to fix it or clean it up to get the look that i want. when people ask me how long all this takes, they always seem surprised when i tell them that i spend less than 15 minutes a day working on my site, and most of that is writing the posts. blogging is easy.
